Synopsis
Anna Kusakabe had it all: a high-powered career at a prestigious management consulting firm and a reputation for excellence. But when she abruptly resigns, she claims it’s to pursue financial independence and early retirement. In reality, her life is a chaotic patchwork of whims and temporary gigs. While organizing receipts for a struggling design studio, Anna crosses paths with Mizuki Seo, a brilliant yet notoriously ill-tempered character designer. Though she tries to keep her distance, she can’t ignore his tendency to accept exploitative work from shady clients. What begins as a simple attempt to intervene quickly spirals into an unexpected partnership. As Anna steps into the creative world to help Mizuki, the two polar opposites find their lives – and their professional futures – inextricably linked.
