Synopsis
Unemployed Franz and his son Benny swindle the shady loan shark Johannsen out of a whopping 25,000 marks. But the sudden windfall makes not only his wife and mother Hilda suspicious, but also their neighbor Konrad – who happens to be a police commissioner.
