Synopsis
Rosa fights to support her mother by selling flowers in Saltillo while pursuing her dream of studying law. However, her quest for independence turns into a nightmare when the suffocating jealousy of her boyfriend Juan and the obsessive harassment from Héctor, a dangerous customer, begin to close in on her. Based on the famous "Corrido of Rosita Alvírez," The Disdain deconstructs everyday casual machismo in a powerful drama where a single "no" can escalate into a tragic fate.
