Synopsis

A man buys a television set in Marvin Starkman’s short black-and-white film. Photographed by John Cazale during an overnight shoot in actor Michael Lombard’s apartment, The Box turns a simple domestic purchase into the basis for a compact 16mm study of object, space, and routine.
