Synopsis
In a world where men have never existed,women leave the city when it is time to give birth. Zeza and Olivia arrive at Celeste's house,a midwife and keeper of an ancient secret. Zeza's body carries, however, somethingthat should not exist: a male child. Celeste knows the signs. For generations, midwives have kept this secret within the earth, passed down through prayers and rituals known to no one else. As the birth draws near, Celeste prepares to fulfil what has been entrusted to her.
