Dramatic history of Ukrainian auteur cinema of the 1960s-90s, in particular about the creative destiny of directors: Serhiy Paradzhanov, Ivan Mykolaychuk, Leonid Osyka, Mykola Mashchenko, Roman Balayan, Viktor Kryshtofovych and others.The film uses excerpts from 35 cult films, which symbolize the flourishing of Ukrainian film production.
