Disciple of Baracho, the uncrowned King, over more than 50 years of career and champion of many festivals, João Limoeiro transformed Ciranda de Engenho into the rhythm we know today. Cirandeiro, a reference from the North Forest of Pernambuco, is crowned King by the people.
