Measuring Sadness

Vermessung der Tristesse is an essay film. Memories, archive footage, dreams and painful reality collide, touching each other in their own visual language. A state is measured, a process in which sadness and beauty, vastness and closeness, warmth and coldness are combined in opposing ways.
