Synopsis
While Hezbollah threatens to go to war against Israel, we look back at the establishment of the Shiite movement in power and its political weight in the Land of Cedar. An ascent which weakens the balance between Lebanon's religious and ethnic communities. Updated version of a documentary broadcast by ARTE in 2020, this rigorous investigation analyzes the explosive geopolitical situation in the Middle East, and in particular the skillful rise to power of Hezbollah, a state within a state capable of paralyzing Lebanese institutions.
