Funny Thing About Love

Synopsis

The Funny Thing About Love is a sexy, emotional Black romance dramedy set at Atlanta’s premier fictional HBCU, Hunter College. When bestselling author Miles Morris returns home for his ten-year reunion, he is forced to face Alice Lewis, the brilliant former love who broke his heart. But Alice’s perfect life has fallen apart. Her marriage to NFL star Derick Pennington has collapsed, and she has moved back home under the watchful eye of her powerful father, Judge Charles Lewis. Days before the reunion, Miles releases a tell-all book inspired by their college romance, sending shockwaves through campus and online. As old feelings resurface, Alice must confront a buried secret that could change everything, including the truth about a child Miles never knew existed. Romantic, messy, tender, and explosively funny, The Funny Thing About Love is a modern Black love story about heartbreak, healing, second chances, and the secrets that shape us.
